"My first disabled trip to Spain"

I fell in love with traveling in Europe over twenty years ago. I had been traveling to visit friends in Spain every other year and developed a deep love for that country, particularly the city of Madrid. I was involved in a serious automobile accident eighteen years ago which left me a C6/7 quadriplegic.

Francisco Miguel Santiago (Spain)

"Friendliness and all kind of facilities"

On November 2015, I bought a Luggie scooter (foldable scooter) from Accessible Madrid. I was delivered a very good service all the time. The staff clarified all my doubts with professionalism, friendliness and always with good advise. Thank you very much Fernando and Arturo for your advice and so nice deal.

Nelida Barbeito (Argentina)

"Awesome Madrid"

Accessible Madrid organizes private adapted tours. They have an adapted minivan with hydraulic lift and also rent several technical aids and mobility equipment. We were a family of 4. We visited Madrid and Toledo on the same day. We wanted to see a lot but we had very little time.

Amparo Herranz (Spain)

"You are Great"

We drove from Guadalajara to Madrid to buy the Apex Transformer foldable mobility scooter. Accessible Madrid gave us an exquisite attention and explained us everything, possible and impossible related to the scooter. They also let us try it.

Juan Carlos Ferrante (Argentina)

"A Very Responsible Service"

Last October I visited Spain for 22 days. I have a physical disability and I decided to hire an electric scooter with Accessible Madrid. The scooter I got was easy to disassemble and easy to store in the trunk of my car. The scooter allowed me to explore every inch of the historical and touristic places in this great country.

Amnon Kahanov (Israel)

"Arturo Garrido! You´re the best!"

The Apex Transformer foldable scooter that Arturo recommended me to rent was incredible. Arturo´s service and courtesy Were beyond my expectations And also the great communication we had. It all made my trip to the majestic city of Madrid much easier and fun. Muchas gracias y Hasta luego Arturo! I´ll be back!

Suzanne Player (Scotland)

"Fab weekend in Madrid!"

Helpful, informative great scooter hire in Madrid. From booking right through the weekend, Arturo at Accessible Madrid could not have been more helpful. I was given information to make my stay easy with info on where I could go, tours and a phone number for a scooter friendly taxi.

Hugo Cristian Latorre (Chile)

"Remarkable Service"

It has been great to find this quality service. I rented a scooter for 2 weeks for a family trip to Spain. Arturo recommended the type of scooter you should rent based on my specific requirements and Accessible Madrid delivered the scooter right at Puerta de Atocha train station in Madrid, so I could begin my journey.

Margaret Marinkovich (New Zealand)

"Excellent Service"

I had a fall when visiting Madrid and badly sprained my ankle. I hired a mobility scooter from Accessible Madrid which enabled me to still get out and enjoy the sights. The drop off and pick up service to our apartment was very professional and punctual.I would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Madrid with a disability.

Louis Andres Caceres (Australia)

"Excellent Experience"

Very good tour, informative and also lets you roam around when you want. Would recommended to anyone. Tours in both Spanish and English (Fluent English) my dad had a great time and was not tired as he would´ve been if he had to push his wheelchair around all day. Thumbs up from me.

Sandy Solomon (USA)

"Excellent personalized service for 91-year-old with accessibility issues"

I´ve visited other European capitals with my elderly mother with walking difficulties: Accessible Madrid wins the prize compared to similar services in London and Paris. Arturo, who speaks fluent English, provided excellent personalized service; that is, he was responsive to our particular interests and needs.

Fred Nieuwveld (Netherlands)

"City trip to Madrid"

We visited Madrid with friends. Since I have a problem with my mobility I looked on the MS site in Holland and found out about Accessible Madrid. I sent them a mail and received rightaway response from Arturo. It was a pleasure to cross around in Madrid with the scoot, Without the scoot it would have been a trip with mobility problems.

César Portocarrero (USA)

"A Vacation Saved"

I suffered from an acute attack of sciatica upon arriving in Barcelona that required me to find a way to explore the city. A friend mentioned a scooter, as a better solution to the wheelchair we had rented, but that service was not available in Barcelona.

Søren Kahns (Denmark)

"Fantastic trip to Madrid because of Accessible Madrid"

I can give my best recommendations to "Accessible Madrid" which made me and my sons trip to Madrid unforgettable. Accessible Madrid provided us with tickets for a Real Madrid football match. Wheelchair seats were perfect - just next to the corner of the field. Fantastic experience for me as a wheelchair user and maybe even greater for my son.

Tomás Heras (Spain)

"My first experience with a mobility scooter"

I am 59 years old and recently I have mobility problems. I was a little expectant of needing a scooter to move in medium and long distances. The scooter allowed me to do a great visit in Madrid accompanied by my wife. The guidance and encouragement of Arturo, the head of the service, has been definitive.

Karen Boyle (Scotland)

"Accessible Madrid"

Accessible Madrid were fantastic in way of communication and their service. It allowed me to see a lot of the city which I would have most definitely struggled with. I would recommend them, Arturo speaks excellent English and is very helpful, a must for those with mobility issues.

Piedad García (Spain)

"No accessibility problems with you"

Arturo, thank you, thank you and thank you very much. We spent some unforgettable days in Madrid and Segovia with you. We hope to return soon to continue enjoying Madrid and other cities. You´ve adapted to my disability issues, to my daughter´s pregnancy etc.

Dr. Jean René V. Clemenceau (Mexico)

"Madrid for all"

We all could enjoy Madrid. Accessible Madrid made our dream come true of strolling the beautiful streets of Madrid in a comfortable scooter. They also have a van specially equiped for you to ride it on the scooter or on the van seat and just transporting it. Ask for Joshua the kind driver who speaks fluent English. Arturo Garrido was our guide.

Joseph A Peia (USA)

"Handicap Scooter"

The scooter that Accessible Madrid was new beautiful and made our stay Madrid pleasurable and possible. After emailing several companies, Arturo gave me the confidence to book with him. Everything was done by email. He and his partner, Oscar, met us at the airport with the scooter.

Jose Manuel Castaño (Spain)

"Incredibly good!"

An excellent service. It took me a while to find this service, but certainly it has been worth it. Sure that we will get in touch with Accessible Madrid again. Let us know if you open branch in Bilbao. Thank you very much for everything.

Maryanne Larsen (USA)

"Amputee Enjoyed Madrid and Toledo: Great Scooter Rental and Service"

Accessible Madrid came to the rescue allowing me to tour Madrid and Toledo. My personal Pride Scooter broke down on my way to Madrid. We arrived in Madrid on a Sunday and called Accessible Madrid to see if they could assist.

Nicolas Dominguez (Spain)

"My mother loved it!"

I hired this service on a trip to Madrid because I recently broke my leg and I sincerely loved the service. Scooters were brand new and the service, just great. I do recommend it.

Rahul Chamaria (India)

"Best way to Experience Madrid is Accessible Madrid"

Our trip required extraordinary special assistance because of my brother who is a Quadriplegic (i.e. paralysis of all 4 limbs below chest including bowel and bladder dysfunction) after Spinal Cord Injury at C4-C5 level and is on a motorized wheelchair.

Ani Anulik (Dubai)

"Father enjoyed Madrid because of the scooter for Seniors"

We are spending a month in Madrid now with our parents. Dad has an issue with his leg, can´t walk long distances, which is making it difficult to fully enjoy the city and do the sightseeings. Found this services online, visited their store and have rented the Colibri motorized wheel chair (or scooter? 4 wheels).
