Kit Laser for Rollz Motion
What is the Rollz Motion Rhythm Conversion Kit?
The Rollz Motion Rhythm Conversion Kit is the system that allows you to convert any Rollz walker into a Parkinson's-specific walker. The Rollz Motion Rhythm system will help you achieve a controlled gait, stimulating your steps with sensory, acoustic, and visual cues. The Rollz Motion Rhythm kit consists of a module and two handles with activation buttons. The module can be installed in any Rollz Motion or Rollz Motion Performance walker and convert it into a Parkinson's walker.
How does the Rollz Rhythm walker help a person with Parkinson's?
Movement and the simple routine of walking for a person with Parkinson's can be difficult and frustrating, sometimes due to freezing, which prevents them from walking normally. This disorder can be stimulated through three cues: acoustic, visual, and sensory. This system has been developed in collaboration with therapeutic professionals to significantly improve the quality of life of users with Parkinson's. The Rollz Motion Rhythm walker perfectly combines the three cues simultaneously or separately, depending on each person's needs. Parkinson's patients can follow a personalized walking rhythm, based on their physical condition and, most importantly, avoiding the undesirable freezing and blocking states.
What makes the Rollz Motion Rhythm special?
For perfect setup and adjustment, the Rollz Motion Rhythm can be configured through the Rollz smartphone app. It is compatible with Android and iOS devices and allows for comprehensive configuration of every function of this walker. With the intuitive Rollz app, you can configure the volume or pattern you need to follow, depending on the day or the user's physical condition. The therapist can collaborate on setting up the walking routine to improve or maintain physical fitness.
Acoustic cues: the rhythmic sound that helps control walking speed and rhythm. The metronome is a device that emits an acoustic signal that can regulate the steps of Parkinson's patients. Sensory cues: The vibrating grips transmit the signal easily to the user, marking the rhythm of each step.
Visual cues: The fluorescent green laser light drawn on the floor is extremely helpful for Parkinson's patients. This visual cue helps them unblock themselves when they freeze, but also improves walking speed and stride length.
