Virtuous Salamanca is a full day private guided accessible tour in Salamanca.
This tour is operated from Madrid. departing and arriving in Madrid on same day.
This tour is aimed at wheelchair users and people with reduced mobility and their families. Most of the sidewalks of the route are lowered and we will avoid as much as possible the areas with cobblestones.
Experience an unforgettable visit to this beautiful and unique UNESCO World Heritage site. It feels like strolling through an open-air museum with magnificent historic monuments on display.
7.30 am: Transfer from the hotel in Madrid to Salamanca in adapted minivan (2 1/2 hours).
We will visit the Plaza Mayor and the cathedral complex; The Historical Building of the University, in whose facade one must find a figure of a frog; inside, we will find special spaces as the Fray Luis classroom, where time seems to stand still, or the Ancient Library. At our own pace we will admire the so known "Casa de las Conchas", famous for its facade decorated with hundreds of shells and a the beautiful cloister; Right after we will contemplate the Clergy and Pontifical University, both located just opposite. After this pleasant walk we stop to rest and gather some strength.
Salamanca has an excellent creative cuisine using local products. There are dozens of excellent restaurants in the city with a quality offer.
In the afternoon we can take a walk on the Roman bridge and enter the Garden of Calixto and Melibea. The Casa Lis, is a Modernist palace with stained glass windows. One of the treasures of the city. After we will visit the Convent of San Esteban and Las Dueñas. In the last convent we recommend trying the sweets made by nuns and savor the cloister, while contemplating the views of the cathedral.
17:45: Transfer back to the hotel in Madrid (2 1/2 hours)

Cancellation and Refund Policy: In case of cancellation between the confirmation date and 46 days before arrival, 30% of the total cost of the trip will be charged. In case of cancellation between 45 and 31 days before arrival, 40% of the total cost of the trip will be charged. In case of cancellation between 30 and 15 days before arrival, 50% of the total cost of the trip will be charged. In case of cancellation less than 15 days before arrival, 100% of the total trip will be charged.
If the client postpone or modifies the dates of the trip, it will be subject to the cancellation conditions mentioned in the previous paragraph.
No refunds will be made for not having enjoyed any part of the trip, for cancellations made once the trip has begun or early terminations of the trip for any reason.
In those Tours or Packages with airline, boat or train tickets reservations, the customer will pay the entire cost the service. Also applicable for Hotel and Van reservation costs.
Not included: snack/meals and gratuities.
