The new Tatel restaurant in the centre of Madrid offers Spanish cuisine of the highest order and an air of exclusivity. After dinner, the place turns into a lounge/dance party until about 2-230 in the morning. The concept is quite brilliant. Beautiful interior, DJ, stunning bar, great cocktails, with a fine dining like atmosphere for dinner that includes live performances.
The new restaurant is located on one of the most prestigious boulevards in the Spanish capital. With a floor area of around 800 square meters it has space for more than 200 diners. A central dining room, five partitioned premium sections and a bar provide the stylish setting for private get-togethers and business meetings. The interior design takes its inspiration from New York clubs in the 1920s. The co-owners and brand ambassadors for this prestige restaurant are three world-famous Spaniards: tennis player Rafael Nadal, NBA basketball legend Pau Gasol and pop star Enrique Iglesias. This project, is also backed by businessman Abel Matutes Jr., was ideated with the goal of creating an establishment that would capture and reflect the culture, gastronomy and Spanish way of life.
This concept is particularly key due to the fact that the owners are planning to open similar restaurants in the United States, Mexico and the United Kingdom in the future.
In terms of cuisine, the menu is the work of experienced and well-known chefs Nino Redruello and Patxi Zumárraga, who have endeavored to combine traditional Spanish flavors and contemporary Spanish haute cuisine in a varied menu that includes rices, pastas, charcuterie, fish and meat dishes, among other things. The chefs Nino Redruello and Patxi Zumárraga believes in simplicity, resulting in revitalized everyday dishes. These perfect plates are accompanied by a great selection of wines (and cocktails!). Created by the owners of Ushaïa and Blue Marlin in Ibiza, Tatel’s terrace offers a similar trendy lounge style. Inside, the dimmed lights and chic interior design take you back to the twenties. At Tatel everything is taken care of to the last detail, so sit back and spoil yourself!
