The Cinema: an unconventional cinema

The Palacio de Cibeles hosts these days the first pop-up cinema in Madrid, Spain. The Cinema, Summer Cinema, reaches the capital within the programming of the Summer in the City. From July 9 to August 31 iconic films of world cinema will be screened at the Crystal Palace Gallery. Great films of yesterday and today as "Searching for Sugar Man" (VOSE), "Alien, The Eighth Passenger " or "The Apartment", will delight those who come to the Palacio de Cibeles.


The Cinema is not a conventional cinema. The Cinema is an immersive experience to share with friends in a magical space and an attractive film program with a fantastic range of leisure options combine exhibitions, pop-up store product film, finger food, cocktail bar, djs and beer garden open until 2am!

Projections begin at 10 pm, but the doors are open from 8 pm to 2 am.


The Cinema is organized by the Foundation Projects, a non-profit organization founded in 2010 that promotes film culture and the educational use of film through unique and innovative activities. The ticket price will range between 4 and 5 euros and can be accessed by competition, as part of their online strategy, the ability to participate in programming.


The Cinema, at The Palacio de Cibeles,is fully accessible to people with disabilities. The Palacio de Cibele has no barrier access for wheelchairs and mobility scooters users.
