Sanidare toilet cushion

The standard Sanidare Cushion provides softness and comfort on the toilet. Its rear velcro fasten the ring of the toilet preventing it from moving.

In addition to making the toilet more comfortable for those patients who remain in it for long periods of time (cancer patients, palliative patients, etc.) thanks to its height, the standard Sanidare Cushion serves as a technical aid to facilitate positioning on the toilet.

Machine washable cover at 60ºC. Dry on low heat. Do not use bleach.

The viscoelastic material absorbs pressure in an exceptional way: if we leave our hand on its surface and remove it, we can observe its contour perfectly. This material has the so-called "memory effect". That is, although we see that our contour remains very easily, it always returns to its original position when it stops feeling the pressure: it does not deform.

The anti-bedsore cushion is recommended for those with a medium risk of suffering from bedsores and who remain seated for a long time without changing their position. The user will enjoy immediate pressure relief, which translates into a better quality of life. Prevents the appearance of bedsores in the sacrum, hamstring and coccyx area. The end of the back is where the ulcers first appear if we sit for a long time and that is why using an anti-bedsore cushion is a great idea: it is always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to bedsores and it is advisable not to wait to appear to act against them. To avoid its appearance, it would be convenient to place suitable products under each point of support and change the patient's position frequently (on average every 3 hours), as well as avoid any type of humidity because it favors the appearance of these ulcers. Depending on the risk of eschar and the weight of the user, the use of one cushion or another will be recommended.
