Alcala de Henares, one of the most important cities in the history of Spain, is just 30km from Madrid. The Complutense University was founded here in 1499, and since then it has declared Spanish a language of culture. Segovia is a must visit UNESCO world heritage site (just 1h drive from Madrid). A historical site that symbolizes the importance of central Spain in the middle ages. Its most famous attractions are: a unique Roman Aqueduct with more than 2000 years of history (the symbol of the city), the incredibly beautiful Alcazar and the last Gothic Cathedral in Spain. All visitors should try its famous roast suckling pig, a quintessential Spanish dish!
